Newton's Nook Designs September Release - Pick a Pumpkin + Die

today's day 3, the last day of  September release week with Newton's Nook Designs! but never fear - it's packed full of inspiration and awesome products!

today, the whole DT is showcasing the new, super awesome and versitle Pick a Pumpkin stamp + Die set! Oh, i just LOVE those pumpkins!! and the dies make it SO SIMPLE to mass produce the perfect cards for fall!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on September 25th, right here!

my first card uses teal pumpkins - because that's my FAVORITE color! ha!

i stamped the pumpkins in teals and navys and then die cut them out and arranged them in a neat little pile!

the background was sprayed with gold mist! i just LOVE gold with teals and navy! swoon!! so pretty!

for my 2nd card, i decided to go a little clean and simple, because really these pumpkins do all of the work for you!

i did a little bit of a rock and roll technique in two different orange distress inks (Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold). then i dropped a little bit of water on to add the water droplets!

the stem was stamped in Vintage Photo, but then i added a tiny bit of water to make that look watercolored. as well! i also added a few 'drops' in glossy accents, and then stamped the sentiment from Falling into Autumn!

lastly, i just stitching a straight line along the top with my sewing machine!

  12. Cool card! Teal isn't just your favorite color - putting a teal pumpkin outside your house is becoming the signpost for announcing you have alternative treats for kids who are diabetic, allergic to gluten or peanuts, etc.! So it is pretty AND PC!! Very hip! ;) <3 Meredith
