watercolors, distress inks, emboss resist - OH MY!

hello there!

today i'm on the sweet stamp blog!! yahoo!
i have a new series and this one is all about being inspired by pinterest - hello!! that's easy to do!!
today my cards are all based on this super pretty card!

i have three cards to share using various ways to emboss resist! fun!

all three cards use two of my favorite stamp sets - sentimental birds and alpha tabs! :)

i got the first watercolor look by painting on the color with some mists and water! (check out the sweet stamp shop blog to find the details!)

i love the colors of the teal and light green together to create a landscape!  and the softness of the stitching just looks sooo sweet with the softness of the watercolor!

my next card was created with the same color scheme, but with distress inks! so pretty!

i love the vibrancy of the colors!! and the heat embossed images really pop! i could use peacock feathers on every project i think! :)

lastly, i have another water colored card that i created by spraying the mists directly onto some wet watercolor paper! the mini-tutorial is on the sweet stamp shop blog! it was super fun! and a little messy! :)

the reds, yellows and oranges are so pretty together! it reminds me a summer sunset! :)

so those are my cards! i had so much fun creating them based off of this image i found on the sweet stamp shop pinterest page! :)
do you pin? check out sweet stamp shop and get inspired! :)
enjoy!
