cookies and milk in love

here's another card i made in the wee hours of the morning when i was unable to sleep. oh, don't get me wrong. i wanted to sleep. so bad! but i was unable to sleep because the short people in this house had other ideas! :)

anyway, as i was making my other card for the lawnscaping challenge (getting texty), this card came into my head. i knew i wouldn't rest until it was made. i just didn't think it would be so early in the morning! oh well!

i just can't resist making lovey cards with the milk and cookies from lawn fawn's stamp set 'cozy christmas'! i had originally intended to used some sort of fawny critter, but i was drawn back to these guys! anyway, here it is:

since the challenge is all about text, i thought it would be neat to use the sentiment as a background and an image in the word bubbles (which by the way, i got that stamp set by october afternoon from laurel beard, and i LOVE it. i have big things planned for this set!) anyway, it was just my way to make this card a little cheeky! :)

the milk and cookies were paper pieced and popped up, along with the word bubbles.

my husband loves milk and cookies and won't eat a cookie without milk (i, however, do not have that problem!), and since our 6 year anniversary is tomorrow, i think this card is perfect for him!

well that's the card! short and sweet! :)
