Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #25 - Color inspiration!

happy new year!
let's ring it in with some fun and a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

this time...it's rainbows guys...RAINBOWS!!!!!!

I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED! ha ha ha! with all this pressure of the rainbow color theme...I was cracking! lol!
ha! so here's what I made:

well if that doesn't say rainbow, I'm not sure what does! LOL!
I used the new Happy Village stamp set, and just stamped everything in black ink! I made sure to mask the edges of some of the houses, so they looked cohesive.

for the background, I did lots and lots of watercolor layering with various Distress Inks. Lots of layers! once one layer would dry, I would do the same smooshing technique in the same colors on top! and it looks awesome! ha!

to finish off the card, I flicked some shimmer from my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen, and it really shines against that background!
