ready for summer!

oops! i almost forgot to post this card i made for lawnscaping's latest challenge - stamp a scene!!

and
oh
my
goodness!

the cards made for this challenge by the design team and other players are so amazing!!! talk about inspiration! :)

so here's my take! just a simple, underwater scene that i made to brighten a friends' day! :)

i was feeling in a summer-y mood when i made it (maybe it's because i was in florida!)! everything is fussy cut from lawn fawn's critters in the sea stamp set. i also used the chevron backgrounds for the summer-y yellow sky! :)

i just love that the little octopus looks like he's waving!

alright, on with your day!
enjoy! :)

  6. I LOVE THIS CARD! I saw it on your blog and thought oh that's a new favorite (my engagement card is still my absolute favorite) and two days later SURPRISE it is in my mailbox brightening my day! Sami you are a ray of sunshine and your cards carry your light with them. Thank you for the card and for being you!

  7. I just discovered your blog and am loving it! Lawn Fawn is one of my current favs, so I'm in Heaven here browsing your cards.

I tried to search the blog and find an answer to what feels like a silly question, but crashed and burned. Does "fussy cut" just mean cut by hand?

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pieces of art.
