Welcome Little One Slimline Card by Samantha M for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Baby Card, Slimline, Umbrellas, Card Making, Stencils, #lawnfawnatics #lawnfawn #slimline #slimlinecard #babycard #newbabycard #cardmaking #handmadecards

adorable!
I stamped and colored the images from Plus One with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images. and of course - I couldn't resist coloring them in a rainbow palette!

for the background, I die cut the base with the Large Slimline with Sliders dies from Fog Cardstock. then I used some white embossing paste and the Cloud Background Stencils to add some subtle texture.
a few of the umbrellas were popped up with foam tape, but most were tapped directly on the card front.

I heat embossed part of the sentiment from Little Bundle in black onto some vellum. then I die cut it out with the Fancy Wavy Banners. the rest of the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock. then I trimmed it way down.

One of my favorite older sets is Plus One!
It was one of my first Lawn Fawn sets, and the images are SOOOO cute and sweet and perfect for welcoming a new baby! I used the cute umbrella - which I LOOOOOVE and use for non-baby themed cards too!

the images were colored them in various shades of pinks and reds with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
I added some details with a white gel pen, too. then I fussy cut them out.

I die cut out a bunch of clouds with the Stitched Cloud Frames and Outside in Stitched Cloud Stackables! I used Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot and Lost Shadow to add some color and texture to the white cardstock. Then I splatted some white acrylic ink on top!

welcome little one!

hi again!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog - and we've got baby fever over there! ha!
the current challenge is all about babies and celebrating Kelly Marie's new bundle of joy!

for my card, I created this sweet line of laundry!

Welcome Little One Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Lawn Fawn, Distress Inks, Oxide, Baby, Cards, handmade cards, stitching #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #babycard #baby #cards #distressinks

I used the images from Little Bundle and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! once everything was dry, I fussy cut them out!
I just love those little birds, I colored them like robins!
I colored all of the clothing in a rainbow order - offffffffff course I did! ha!

Welcome Little One Card by Samantha Mann, Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, Lawn Fawn, Distress Inks, Oxide, Baby, Cards, handmade cards, stitching #lawnfawn #lawnfawnatics #babycard #baby #cards #distressinks

when I 'strung the clothes on the line', I added some foam tape the bottom parts, so the top of the clothing was stitched on and flat, and the bottom is popped up! love that dimension!

I used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the background in Seedless Preserves and Milled Lavendar. then I splattered some water on top!
I colored all of the clouds from Starry Backdrops and glued them to create a 'sky'.

be sure to check this card out on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, and to play along with this special challenge! :)
enjoy!
