Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #218 - Anything But a Card

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

I love how happy this challenge theme makes everyone!

it's a scrapbook layout!

so fun!
I haven't made a layout in a while, and I was a tiiiiiiny bit rusty!
I created this sweet candy-themed layout in tribute to our familys' halloween costumes this past year!

 

I trimmed off a large corner of a 12x12 piece of white cardstock. then I used papers from the Candy Cane Lane 6x6 Paper Pad and die cut out the edges with the Puffy Cloud Borders die. I love how it's resembles clouds with a scallopped edge. I did the same thing with a white/clear gift bag from my stash.

 

 

I used more paper from the Candy Cane Lane 6x6 Paper Pad and die cut out the title of the layout with Oliver's Stitched ABCs dies. I then cut out the same letters with Black Licorice cardstock, and then placed the black behind the patterned paper letters to create a shadow.
I also used the papers to back the photo, which was popped up with foam tape.

I die cut out the two paperclip images from the Paper Clips die set, and then I heat embossed the sentiments from Costume Party and Happy Howloween in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then cut them in strips.
I popped them up with foam tape. and then I sprinkled some sequins and candy and star images from the same sets: Costume Party and Happy Howloween!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #205 - Awesome Autumn

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

I had so much fun coloring up these beautiful bats!

so fun!
these bats are just adorable!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers from Fangtastic Friends and Fangtastic Friends Add-on. I also added some details with a white gel pen, of course!
once the images were dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

 

I did some ink blending for the background of the card, too! well, lots of ink blending! lol!

I used Distress Inks in Black Soot, Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio.
I used the Nighttime Sky Stencil for the moon and clouds! I also used Cracked Pistachio for the moon details!

for the clouds, I used white embossing paste.
the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock. and I finished off the card with a sprinkling of minty sequins!

Newton's Nook Designs Falloween Release - Autumn Fields and Pumpkin Tails Stamp Sets + Coordinating Dies

today's the last look at the spooky and cozy Newton's Nook Designs Falloween Release September release before it's available to purchase!

all of these new products are so fun!
and sooooo versatile!

my first card uses the very cozy Autumn Fields stamp set!

I stamped the images and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. and of course, I added some details with a white gel pen! once eveyrthing was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. 

I used a Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed to create the warm background. then I used the same colors but with the Jack-o'-Lantern Stencil Set (minus the faces!) to add more tone-on-tone interest! then I used Vintage Photo for the stems of the pumpkins.
I also used Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber for the grass at the bottom. then I used the Land Borders Die Set to die cut it out!

 

 

of course I splattered some white acrrylic ink on top, then popped up the images with foam tape. the sentiment was heat embossed in white and then die cut out with the thinnest banner from the Frames & Flags Die Set.

 

my next card uses the new and super adorable Pumpkin Tails stamp set!

LOOOOOOVE this one!
I colored these images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, too.
then after some details with a white gel pen, I die cut them out.
I die cut out 5 ovals from the Oval Frames Die Set and then used Seedless Preserves, Milled Lavendar, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord Distress Inks.

 

 

 of course, I splattered some of the same ink color and white acrylic ink onto the background, too!

then I die cut the banner from black cardstock using the Frames & Flags Die Set. then the sentiment was heat embossed.

 

love how it came out!

my first card uses the adorable and sweet Autumn Postage stamp set with the Card Layout 5 Die that was revealed yesterday!

I stamped the images and then colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. and of course, I added some details with a white gel pen! once eveyrthing was dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them out. 

I used a Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to ink blend a standard card background. then I used the Falling Leaves Stencil and the same colors to add some tone-on-tone interest.
I also splattered a tiny bit of black splatters.

 

 

the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and then die cut with the small banner from the A7 Frames & Banners die set.

 

my next card uses the new too adorable spooky Halloween Postage Sampler stamp set!

I colored these images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, too.
then after some details with a white gel pen, I die cut them out.
I used the paper from Halloween Meows for the base. and can you tell - I was totally digging the purple!

then I used the Postage Stamp Layout Die Set with some soft purple cardstock. all of the little images were popped up with foam tape, and it was all set with some vellum behind the die! 

 

 

the sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock, and then I used the coordinating die set to die cut it out! I also heat embossed some spiderwebs around a few of the frames! so fun!
a sprinkling of sequins finished the card!
