unicorns and rainbows!

hello!
whew! it's been a WEEK, and it's only Wednesday! lol!
my little Menn went back to school on Monday and we're all a little rusty!
so nothing better than a little mid-week Lawn Fawn to brighten things up! I have this card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

my card uses the new Ta-Da! Diorama along with the cutest unicorns you ever did see!

so adorable!
I stamped the images from All the Clouds, Unicorn Picnic and A Little Sparkle and colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some details with a white gel pen and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

 

I used the Hello Sunshine Remix papers to create the Ta-Da! Diorama card. and I love it! I also used the Mermaid Cardstock.
I altered the panels inside the box with the Puffy Clouds Borders to make them clouds for these unicorns to play on! so fun!

lastly, I did some heat embossing for the sentiment!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #155 - 3-D Projects

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

3-D cards are the BEST!

 

I couldn't wait to play with these mice and their paper airplanes!
I stamped and colored all of the images from Just Plane Awesome, Just Plane Awesome Sentiment Trails, Virtual Friends Add-on and Plane and Simple. then once they were dry, I added some details with a white gel pen!

I used Mermaid Cardstock for the Shadow Box card. and inside the Shadow Box, I used Blue Jay Cardstock that was die cut with the Snowy Backdrop so the stars could peek through!

oh the outside of the box, I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina to add a little ombre.    

 

finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then popped it up with foam tape.

ta-da! diorama dinos!

today is Lawn Fawn Intro to the Ta-Da! Diorama die set!!
I was lucky enough to be able to play along! you can check out what I made here, and also on the Lawn Fawn blog!

as soon as I heard 'diorama' I just KNEW that I had to create a dino-themed card!! because I'm 100% sure when I was little I made my first diorama for school with dinosaurs!!!

soooo cute!
I used the Rawrsome and Rawr stamp sets for this card! oh yeah, I also used All the Clouds for the rainbow coming out of the volcano! all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out with the coordinating dies! I also added some details with a white gel pen.

I used the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow 6x6 Paper Pad to die cut out for the diorama part of the card! I love the bright, happy colors!
I couldn't resist adding those birthday hats, too!

this die is just so fun and irresistible!

 

I also added those cute and fun dinos to the front of the card! it's a whole party explosion!

we made it to the last day of Newton's Nook Designs' August release!

all of these new products are so fun! 

I colored image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

I couldn't resist adding a light pink to the cart, as well as coloring in the pumpkins in light yellows and soft oranges!

I used the Pumpkin Patch stencil for the background! I used Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold. then I used the same colors and ink blended all over the card for a soft tone-on-tone look!

I die cut out the whole panel using the Frames & Flags die set! then I heat embossed the sentiment in black onto vellum and die cut it out with the Banner Duo Die set!

Newton's Nook Designs Autumn Release - Autumn Apples + coordinating dies

it's day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs' August release and it may be my favorite day so far!

all of these new products are so fun! 

I colored image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

then I used the Essential Alphabet dies to enhance the sentiment by die cutting out a letter per apple!

I die cut out the panel with the Slimline Frames & Portholes die set and then used Distress Oxides in Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina! it really helps the apples pop!
I heat embossed part of the sentiment pun onto the last apple at the end.

the card base was then stamped all over with the other apple images from the set in a light grey ink! and I heat embossed the rest of the sentiment in white onto some strips of black cardstock.

a crabby shell-ebration!

hello!!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawn blog, and I even made a little video to go along with it! you can check it out here, or on my YouTube page!
I couldn't resist turning those cute shells from How You Bean? Seashell Add-on into balloons for a beachy birthday party!

 I used the balloons from Really High Five and stamped a little balloon knot at the end of the shells. then I stamped the birthday hats from the same set. finally I stamped the crabs and sand castle from Life is Good. all of the images were stamped and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I couldn't use the coordinating dies from the seashell-balloons so I fussy cut them out!

then I die cut out the card front with the Large Slimline with Sliders and used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the beach scene! for the sandy shore, I used Stained Walnut, Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber and then splattered it all over with the same colors as well as some white acrylic ink.
I used some extra cardstock I had leftover from die cutting with the Stitched Hillside Borders as a mask along the corner of the card. for the ocean part, I used Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. I used a large dry brush and some white acrylic ink to create the ocean spray!

some of the crabs and balloons, were popped up with foam tape.
I also heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and popped that up too!

I colored image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out.

the sentiment is the Autumn Greetings Hot Foil Plate with white foil on vellum! which I then die cut with the Banner Duo Die set!

I used the Jar Hot Foil Plate with some black foil to create the look of a stamped image! then I used Distress Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina to add the 'water' look. then I used the coordinating die to die cut it out!

the patterned paper is from the Love & Woofs paper pad!
