**this is my second post of the day! to see my Get Cracking on Christmas Cards series card with Jenn Shurkus, scroll down, or click here!**
we made it! it's day 4 of Newton's Nook Designs' August release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Knight Owl and Pug-kin Stamp Sets + coordinating dies.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on August 21st, right here!
I am super loving these cute mini stamp sets!
I also used the Pug Hugs stamp set along with the new Pug-kin stamp set!
I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
the sky was ink blended with Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks. then I splattered some water and white acrylic paint on top!
for the grass, I die cut out the landscape with the Land Borders Die Set from green cardstock! then I used Distress Oxide Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to add some shading!
I combined the sentiments from both sets, too! so fun!
I also die cut out the fence with some black cardstock! and finally, I stamped the bats from Batty Newton, that was revealed yesterday!
my next card uses the super cute and adorable Knight Owl stamp set!
eeeep!
love this little guy!
I combined him with the owl from What a Hoot, and then gave her a crown from the Newton's Costume Party stamp set! all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!
I used Distress Inks in Black Soot, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon to ink blend that night sky. then I sued some white embossing paste and the Starfield Stencil to add some night time texture!
