**this is my 2nd post of the day! to see my card for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog, scroll down, or click here!**
hello!
this release has totally got me giving alllll feelings of spring and happiness!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Birthday Roundabout, Floral Roundabout, Circle Frames Die Set and Banner Trio Die Setl.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on May 22nd, right here!
my first card uses the clever, and FUN Birthday Roundabout stamp set!
first, I stamped the circular birthday image directly onto my white cardstock and then heat embossed it in white!
once it was dry, I used Distress Inks in Wilted Violet, Bluerprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass to ink blend in a circular shape!
then I stamped the image AGAIN onto my Bristol Vellum Surface Mixed Media paper, colored some of the balloons, gifts and party hat, and then fussy cut them out with a white border!
I also stamped the bone and puppy from Puppy Pals, colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and die cut out with the coordinating die set!
I also used the new Banner Trio Die Set, heat embossed my sentiment and popped it up! so fun!
my second card uses the new Floral Roundabout stamp set!
I looooove it!
I color the images, and the background of the image, with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then used the Circle Frames Die Set to die cut it out using the Scalloped border! soooo pretty!
I love making a shaped card!
I also stamped this image on some scrap paper, colored a few of the flowers, and popped them up over the same image on the card! such a cute little detail!

ReplyDeleteI love that us used the birthday stamp in a non-traditional way with just the inking...showing another way to present the image. Of course the flowers are wonderfully colored and so fun.

ReplyDeleteI loved you coloring, you are very talented. But I especially liked the way you used the stamp as the background for that adorable puppy. Another way to get 'more' from the stamp.
