welcome to day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs' November release!
this release has totally got me in the mood for snuggling under a blanket with a book! I LOVE this winter release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Penguin Pile + coordinating Dies, Let it Snow mini stamp
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on November 15th, right here!
I think these penguins are my favorite from the release!! I especially love them all wobbly on the mini ice berg! ha!!! sooooo cute!
I stamped and colored this with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut it out!
I used Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio to create the icy water! then I splattered some water and ink color on top!
the penguins were popped up with foam tape, and I also added a mini little pom-pom to the middle penguins hat!! love how sweet and cute they are!
my second card uses the adorable mini Let it Snow set!
I started by ink blending in Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks onto a piece of white cardstock. then I placed the Music Stencil on top and used the same colors, but with more pressure to create the subtle background!
then I die cut it out with the Speech Bubbles Die Set!
next, I used some black gesso and the Cascading Stars Stencil to create the bottom layer of the card! I also stamped some snowflakes from a set being released tomorrow...stay tuned!
oh yeah< i also stamped and watercolored the 'snow' word in rainbow colors and popped them up with foam tape! love this twist on a card with all the patterns!
