Newton's Nook Designs June Release - Farmer Newton Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set

we made it to the last day of the Newton's Nook Designs June release!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out! once it was dry, I used a white gel pen to add a few details!

I die cut out the paper from the new Farmyard Paper Pad with the Basic Frames die set. love that bold cow print!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white and then die cut it out with the Speech Bubbles Die Set. I added color to it with Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and just a whisper of Pine Needles. lol!

Newton's Nook Designs June Release - Tractor and Barn Die Sets, Farmyard Paper Pad

it's day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs June release!

check out what we're working with today: Tractor and Barn Die Sets, Farmyard Paper Pad

my first project uses the adorable tractor dies!

so adorable! I did lots of Distress Oxide inking to create this card! it was all die cut from white cardstock. and then after it was ink blended, I used a white gel pen to add some details.
the colors I used are below:

tractor: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles
hubcaps: Squeezed Lemonade
hills: Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain
trailer and exhaust pipe: Lost Shadow

wheels: Black Soot

I die cut out the hills with the Land Borders Die Set and then used some patterned paper from the new Farmyard Paper Pad.

I also die cut out the tags from the Frames & Tags die set using the same paper pad.

I finished the card by die cutting out the sentiment with the Essential Alphabet dies!

my next card uses the sweet Barn die set!

I die cut out the barn pieces all from white cardstock. I added color to the images with Distress Oxide Inks below:

barn: Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, Dried Marigold
hay: Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo
window - Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain

I die cut out the banner in the background with vellum using the Basic Frames die set.
the background of the card also uses some of the new paper from the Farmyard paper pad.

I used the Speech Bubbles Die Set to back part of the sentiment. it was ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina.
the sentiment was die cut in white using the Essential Alphabet dies

I think that little Beekeeper image is adorable!

I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once the images were dry, I added some details with a white gel pen. I love those cute little bees buzzing around.

I die cut out the little hexagon shapes with the new Hexagon dies from white cardstock. then I used Distress Oxide colors in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles. LOVE how you can piece together a background with those dies!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and then die cut it out with a banner from the A7 Frames & Banners die set.

Newton's Nook Designs June Release - Hexagon Frames Die Set, Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate & Dies, and Heartfelt Honeycomb Stamp Set + Coordinating Die Set

my first project uses the super pretty Heartfelt Honeycomb stamps and dies!

I watercolored the honeycomb heart with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut along the edges! I also splattered the image with some white acrylic ink. I used the same heart image to stamp in a light grey on the white cardstock front.

I popped up some of the bees and drips of honey with foam tape.
then I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and then die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set.

my next card uses the new Honeycomb Hot Foil Plate!

I used some rainbow hotfoil! I love the idea of a rainbow honeycomb! after they were all hotfoiled, I fussy cut then out and popped up one with foam tape. I also splattered some white acrylic ink on top!

I used some hot foil in gold for the bees and popped them up with foam tape too

the sentiment is also from the new Heartfelt Honeycomb stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto black cardstock and then used the A7 Frames & Flags die set to die cut out the banner.

I had so much fun making both cards and can't wait to hear what you all think!

I stamped all of the images in a very soft grey for the background and then splattered some of the same color on top!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #175 - Summertime Fun

I LOVE making summer themed cards with Lawn Fawn products!
and this time I did a LOT of watercoloring for the background!

I stamped the images from Life is Good, Fintastic Friends and On the Beach. then I colored them in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I also decided to fussy cut out all the images! I just love that little crab on vacation!

for the beach/sandy shore I used Distress Inks in Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber. then I sprinkled some white acrylic ink and the same ink colors to make it look sandy!
the wave was created with watercolors onto the 80lb white cardstock and lots of white acrylic ink! so FUN!

I popped up the sand castles, crab, beach ball, sun and sentiment with foam tape. the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then the banner was hand cut.
