today I'm happy to share this super summery and FUN card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog! the current theme is all about those critters having fun in the summer sun!
I started by stamping the images from How You Bean? Seashells Add-on! then I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once it was dry, I added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!
I couldn't resist coloring the shells in a subtle nod to rainbows! lol!
for the background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks in Vintage Photo, Fossilized Amber and Walnut stain for the sandy beach, and Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina for the ocean! then I used some white acrylic ink and a large dry brush to add the foamy waves! so FUN!!
I scattered the shells all around the beach! so fun! I heat embossed the sentiment in white! part of the sentiment is on vellum that was die cut with the Fancy Wavy Banners. and part of the sentiment was heat embossed in white onto a small strip of Black Licorice Cardstock.
