Newton's Nook Designs April Release - Captivated Kittens + coordinating Dies

welcome back to day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs' April release!

it's got that fresh, cute spring feeling!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Captivated Kittens + coordinating Dies!
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on April 23rd, right here! 

I am totally feeling the spring-air with these new products!

and I couldn't help but make a slimline scene with for this card!

I started by coloring all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
there are also a few butterfly images from a set being released at the end of the week...shhhhh!
I used the Land Borders Dies to create the grass, as well as the new Petite Clouds Stencil that was shown on Monday!

I die cut out the card fronts using the Slimline Frames & Portholes as well as the Slimline Frames & Windows Die Sets! then I ink blended on all of them with Distress Inks in blues for the sky and yellow-y greens for the grass!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black cardstock and then fussy cut out around it!
