Newton's Nook Designs April Release - Heartfelt Butterflies, Heartfelt Blooms, Mom & Dad (works with Heart Frames & Banner Trio Dies)

 

this week is going by so fast! it's already day 4 of Newton's Nook Designs' April release!
it's got that fresh, cute spring feeling!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Heartfelt Butterflies, Heartfelt Blooms, Mom & Dad  (works with Heart Frames & Banner Trio Dies)!
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on April 23rd, right here! 

I am totally feeling the spring-air with these new products!

my first card uses the Heartfelt Blooms set!

I heat embossed the blooms image in a rainbow of Distress Inks! then on a piece of white cardstock, I used Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to ink blending, and then I used the Hardwood Stencil and some metallic bronze paste to add the wood details!

once it was all dry, I used the Heart Frames Die Set to cut out a window!
I popped up the hardwood panel with foam tape, and then embellished with die cuts from the
Flower Trio Die Set! I used Distress Inks to add color to them, too! lastly, I heat embossed the phrase in black, onto a banner I die cut with the Banner Trio Die Set!

my next card uses the new Heartfelt Butterflies stamp set!

I colored all of the butterflies in a rainbow color using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then I fussy cut out around the whole image!
I used the Circle Frames Die Set to create the card base!

I used the Butterflies Stencil Set to add some texture to the white card base! I ink blended them in a light grey, and then used the white embossing paste on top of that!
lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a vellum banner using the Banner Trio Die Set!
