well we made it! it's the last day of Newton's Nook Designs April release!!
I am not kidding when I tell you that i'm in LOVE with this month's release! every item is adorable, and so unique!!
today the whole team is showing off the Newton’s Birdbath + coordinating Die! this set is PERFECT for adding the perfect, special sentiment for your card!
you can totally use these to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on April 14th, right here!
for my first card, i used some Distress Paints and a circle acrylic paint block to create the scene!!!
eeeek! so cute, right?! I love that image!! I colored it up with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut it out!
i love the sweet birds included in the set, too! i also heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of black cardstock.
my 2nd card has a background that I made with Distress Oxide Inks!
I used my mini ink blending tool, and just squished some ink onto my cardstock, then splattered with water! SO MUCH FUN!
I masked that image of the kitty, and hung him from the banner sentiment! I just love that! and I finished the card off with some black sequins!
