today is all about flowers with this Newton's Nook Designs April release!!
I am not kidding when I tell you that i'm in LOVE with this month's release! every item is adorable, and so unique!!
today the whole team is showing off the Lovely Blooms + coordinating Die! i love everything in this release, but this set is BY FAR my favorite!! i had SOOOO much fun!
you can totally use these to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on April 14th, right here!
my first card was made with my mom in mind!! i can't wait to give this to her for Mother's Day!
i colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut them out! the background was created with Distress Oxide Inks!! SO MUCH FUn!! and i LOVE that it's all on top of that sweet sentiment!
I used a bunch of foam tape, and then sprinkled some white acrylic paint on top of everything! I think it's just so pretty!
for my 2nd card, well...I couldn't resist making a rainbow bouquet!
LOOOOOOOVE this card! those flower images are my favorite! again, I used my Zigs to color the images, and then splattered the acrylic paint on top!
I popped up some of the flowers and leaves, and then also added some sparkling clear sequins because they just add so much love! ha! the sentiment was heat embossed.
