Lawnscaping Challenge #105 - Watercolor

it's monday!
it's a new month!
and it's the start of a new Lawnscaping Challenge! and this is a really FUN one! ha! i LOVE it! and i think you're going to be ALL over it, too!

watercolor!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
i can't wait to see all of the amazing entries - i am still head over heels in love with watercolor!
i used the newly released Year Five stamp set!

first, i layered stripes of white cardstock onto a white panel. then i stitched them all on. then i added gesso on top!
next, i was ready to add my watercolor!

i used distress inks (Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass) to create the watercolored background!

i also used my distress markers to color in the adorable little otters! one of the otters was stamped in a mirror image so they could 'face' each other! :) the cute little speech bubble is from the fun Chit Chat stamp set!

so that's my cardare you ready to play along?
