good morning!
today is a brand new Lawnscaping Challenge! (insert appropriate fan fare here! ha ha!)
this time it's all about going outside of your comfort zone, and trying something new!
this was a hard one for me, to come up with something new...that i wasn't too much of a pansy to try! lol! but while i was watching videos, i saw Jennifer McGuire do this outline watercoloring...so i gave it a whirl!!
needless to say, i need to keep working on it to refine it! ha! but i still had fun! i don't have those neat markers that she used, so i used my inktense pencils, and they worked great!
that fox is from the super adorable Into the Woods stamp set. i just think he's SO cute! the balloon is from the super versatile Admit One stamp set, i love that one!! and the sentiment is from the super FUN Happy 4th stamp set! i really LOVE those fireworks!
for the background, i used some chipped sapphire to tint my embossing paste and smeared it on over a stencil! i heat embossed the sentiment on the vellum banner, and popped it all up over some polka dot washi!
for even more inspiration (if you can stand it!), check out the lawnscaping facebook page! we're dedicated to keeping your creative juices flowing! :)
