Newton's Nook Designs May Flowers Blog Hop

hello!
it's may 1st - and the Newton's Nook team decided to ring in spring with a fun little May Flowers blog hop! such a fun idea!!

for my card today, i used the adorable Love Grows stamp set! seriously, i just LOVE the flower images in that set! and heat embossed in white, they're PERFECT to watercolor!


 i used my distress markers and then fussy cut them out! i popped a few up for dimension on that bold stripped background! LOVE it!

i masked the stripes and then used black paint to make the stripes! perfection, am i right? i LOVE the due cut popped up in one of the stripes! it's the perfect way to add a hidden sentiment!
