owl be in the forest

wee memories is one of my favorite blogs! i love how simple and clean and still amazingly cute her cards always are!

her challenge this week is in the forest (WMC20), and i was so excited about that! i love all things nature: trees, clouds, animals...owls!! ha ha!

for this card, i used the owl punch from stampin up! to create the owls. i free-handed the clouds and the grass, and then added a little yellow button peeking out from behind the cloud! i thought it would be neat to have the sentiment 'owl miss you' imprinted on the clouds and the grass, i was just trying to change things up! ha ha! then i cut out a couple of the words and popped them up to add more dimension.

i love this card, i think it's happy and bright, and helps to say, 'hey man, i miss you too, but i hope this cheers you up'. ha ha!
