it's day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs' October release! and this just might be my FAVORITE day of the release!
oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: A Kitten Christmas and Christmas Puppies Stamp Sets + coordinating dies.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on October 23rd, right here!
I'm starting today's post with this furry little trouble maker from the A Kitten Christmas stamp and dies!
I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!
do you love these kittens as much as I do?! I LOOOOOVE the big eyes and tufts of fur!! they're SO cute!!!!
I started by ink blending some select pine branches from the Holiday Foliage Stencil with various Distress Ink colors! then I splattered some of the same ink colors around the 'tree'! then I used a few more of the pine branches to add some foiled branches! LOVE that unexpected shine!
eeep!
I'm seriously in love with this card!
my next card uses another little furry troublemaker - and he's JUST as cute! lol!
look at that cutie all tangled up in the lights! it was a no brainer for me to combine this image with the Light Strings Stencil Set! I combined it with the beeeeeeeeautiful Enchanted Rose foil!!! LOOK at all those different colors depending on the light!! wow!!! so pretty!!
oh, did I mention I used just plain white embossing paste for the actual, 'string' of the lights! ha!
I finished off the card with some various-sized sequins!
