Newton's Nook Designs Mini Release - Sunflower Days + coordinating Dies, Gingham Stencil

what a fun day - it's a mini release with Newton's Nook Designs!!

this little release is just what you need to get you through the last dregs of summer and get ready for some warm, cozy fall time! ha!

oh how I love this new stamp set and stencil!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Sunflower Days + coordinating Dies, and the Gingham Stencil.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase right now, right here

for this card, I wanted to use rich, bold colors in the background, so the sunflowers really popped!

So Kind Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, sunflowers, cards, handmade cards, embossing paste, fall, autumn, #newtonsnook #sunflowers #cards #distressoxide #inkblending

this was so fun to make!
I started by using Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet and ink blended them all together!
then I used some pearlescent embossing paste and the cute Hardwood Stencil to finish the background!

So Kind Card by Samantha Mann for Newton's Nook Designs, sunflowers, cards, handmade cards, embossing paste, fall, autumn, #newtonsnook #sunflowers #cards #distressoxide #inkblending

it's hard to see, but I finished off the card with some matte light yellow sequins and heat embossed the sentiment! adorable!
