Ok, so today I have 2 cards and 1 planner spread to share with you! Let's get to it! :)
My first card uses Dinky Doodles 1 and Daily Diary stamp sets!
LOVE it!!!
So adorable right?! I turned that little monster into a crab, and then created a tiny beach scene with Distress Oxide Inks, within the AWESOME new Postage Stamp Dies!!!
I die cut out the largest size frame 4 times and adhered them together! LOVE the stacked height!

I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock! And I finished off the card with some gold thread around the frame, and some gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine splatters!
My 2nd card uses the BEYOND ADORABLE Monster Dies!!!! I die cut out the outline of the monster (and his arm!) 4 times and stacked it all together!
Then added color by blending some Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio!
I added some glossy accents to the eyes (they look like googly eyes now!! ha!) and added some glitter to his horns!! LOVE THIS LITTLE GUY!
The watercolor background was created with Distress Oxide Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Spiced Marmalade!

Then I added the sentiment from Halloween Sampler onto a banner of black cardstock!! So cute, right?! Those little white gel pen details I added with to the monster make me giggle, too!
My last project is a planner spread!
If you aren't aware (I mostly post my planner spread on my Instagram only), I use a planner EVERY DAY. But I don't decorate the weekly pages. I need those to be function only! LOL! But I go crazy with the monthly spreads! I call it "art planning" a mix of art journaling, and using a planner!!
So here's my spread before the pen!
So here's my spread before the pen!
What do you think?!
I started by using some white gesso on my pages, then added the watercolor rainbow look with Distress Paints! August is a busy month with both of my boys' celebrating birthdays and back to school! And this year, we even got to see the Solar Eclipse in 100% totality!! Pretty cool!
I hope you're inspired and love what you see!
Don't forget to enter for your chance(s!!) to win!!

Love the way you used the Distress Oxide inks. So yummy! And if you hadn't said that you used glaze on the eyeballs I would have thought they really were googley eyes. Very nice! And your monthly planner pages are nice too!! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely darling cards and planner pages! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love this monster die!
ReplyDeleteWelcome! and thanks for filling in for Alice. Both of your cards are well done (esp. taking the time to cut out one monster four times!). I particularly am inspired by your first where your "crab" is in a gorgeously whimsical scene. What makes it pop is that "popped" up (four times cut) frame. I could use this frame and make an etch-a-sketch scene. The inspiration is just gushing.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects today. I love the scene you created at the beach... that is the best day ever in my book too. The monster is super cute. TFS
