we made it! it's the last day of Newton's Nook Designs August release!
this month's release is amazing, whimsical and SO CUTE!
today the whole team is showing off the Autumn Newton + coordinating Die! you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on August 18th, right here!
it's not a Newton's Nook release without some Newton action!!
i really love how this card turned out! i used Distres Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron to create the inked background!
then i splattered some water on top!
the image was colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut out! i heat embossed the sentiment in white onto the strip of black cardstock! then finished off the card with some clear sequins!
my 2nd card is a sweet harvest scene!
i used the Land Border Dies to create the hills and and watercolored on top with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks . The sun was created with Squeezed Lemonade that i tapped onto my circle acrylic block and pressed onto the white cardstock!
these colors are totally fall to me, and i like the pops of purple (yes, I did just say that! ha!)
