woo-hoo! it's the last day of the Newton's Nook Designs June release!!
this month's release is amazing, fun and SO CUTE!
today the whole team is showing off the Newton Rides West + coordinating dies! you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on June 16th, right here!
for my first card, I cut a cactus shape two times with my Silhouette!
I colored in all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, and then die cut them out! I fussy cut out the sentiment after I stamped it, and then placed it between those two arms of the cactus! so fun!
I used the coordinating die cuts to cut out Newton and his sheriff badge! love that!!! and the clouds are from the Newton Scoots By stamp set and dies! I added color to the cactus shapped card with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks! Then sprinkled some water and color drops onto it! LOVE the texture!
my second card is back to the traditional size:
I just love this little scene!!
I started by using a sheet of printer paper to mask off the sky, then some Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the ground - best combo ever!!!!! The 'sky' is really more of a green-y/cactus background with Twisted Citron Distress Ink! Love it!

All of the images were color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then die cut! Some of the images were popped up, and that sentiment just cracks me up!!!!
