Lawnscaping Challenge #113 - Texture

oh yeah! it's a new week! and it's the start of a new Lawnscaping Challenge! and this is a really FUN one! ha! (they're all fun, i know!) but this one is right up my alley!

see? texture - oh yeah! so excited!
i decided to make a layout and i LOVE how it came out!

first, i sprayed the background of my layout with a pink and yellow mist and let that drip, just a little! once that was dry, i added some embossing paste with a stencil! FUN!

to add even more texture, i stamped the crayons from Color My World, the camera from #awesome and a speech bubble from Chit Chat onto vellum, and stitched them on with my sewing machine! there is very little i love MORE than a stitched texture on paper! ha!

i also stitched on the title and most of the other embellishments! lastly, i added some black splatters and white sequins! oh - i also left some of my stitching thread long, so it could hang down! fun! and i LOVE it!

this layout features a photo of when my big little Mann was a Terrific Kid at his school!! We are so proud of him, and loved watching him cross the stage to accept this award! :D

so that's my projectare you ready to play along?
