to the new little monster

hi there!

i am sharing a card today, just for FUN! that's right, no challenges, no DT, just pure, crafty FUN! :)

my brother and his girlfriend just had a little boy - and he's the CUTEST little babe ever! 
they did his room in cute, cuddly little monsters (which i think is adorable!)! so in keeping with their theme, i made the baby card appropriately! :)

i just love it!!
those little monsters from lawn fawn's monster mash stamp set are ADORABLE!! perfect for this card! both my brother and his girlfriend love the color purple, so that's why the monster family is various shades of purple! :) and don't you just love that little stork from plus one? i know i do! :)

for the background, i used the tim holtz rays stencil and some transluscent embossing paste! :) then i splatter some gold mist around the sun rays. :)
the sentiment is from hello baby! :)

so that's my card! i sent it to them along with a super fluffy and fun blanket i made! (here's a sneak of the blanket:)

doesn't it look so cuddly?! it is! i assure you!
