i had SO much fun with this set! it's just adorable - winston is starring in his very own stamp set!
my first card is him holding a sweet as can be cupcake! both the cupcake and his arms are popped up for dimension, so it looked like he was actually holding it! but uh-oh, it looks like he was late to the party! ha ha!
i just loved creating this scene with the party hat and decorations on the floor! the sentiment was added on a woodgrain banner with some sewing machine thread as a bow to hold all the wonky layers in place! so fun!!
my next card was REALLY fun to make!
we all know i'm a vellum fiend...i can't help it! well for this card i tried using embossing paste on vellum!! LOVE it!
the vellum was sewn onto the cardstock! for winston's arm to hang from the balloon, i just did some fun cutting and used the fish to hide where his other arm showed! it really was fun to make this card!

ReplyDeleteIt's really a small world, we should get together for shopping at Scrapin' Happily Ever After and a stamping party :-). I drive by that place 4 times a day taking the kids to school, but always thought it was part of the church. Anyways, email me at piecesbyemily@yahoo.com... let set a play date for the kids and us!
