hello sweet bee!

hello and good morning!
today is a fun post over on the newton's nook blog! it's a special day to celebrate the cute little bear image that is featured in so many newton stamps! 
and i believe there may be a giveway and poll going on over on the newton's nook facebook page! definitely check it out! 

so with that said - here's my super sweet card!

remember that bear image? it's from the halloween stamp set - boo crew! i LOVE this card and i love that stamp set! it's so fun!

i colored the 'mummy' to look like it was bear trying to dress up as a bee! ha ha ha!! he's popped up for dimension! but i couldn't forget his antenna! that was created with the stem and solid heart image from the sweetheart tails stamp set! then i added some black enamel to the black hearts on the antenna to really make it stand out!

the background is some pink and red hexagons (hello bee theme!) that i sprayed and splattered with some white mr huey's so it would tone down the busy pattern! :)
the sentiment is just some cosmo cricket tiny type that i sewed on! (my FAVORITE way to add tiny type to cards and layouts! ha!)
