Newton's Nook Designs January Release - Heartfelt Meows & Heartfelt Woofs

we're powering through this January release for Newton's Nook Designs!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, dies and a brand new paper pad!! just wait until you see it all! I'm swooning!

my first card uses the new Heartfelt Meows card...in an unexpected way!

I stamped the image and then colored the cute little kitties with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. then I fussy cut out the images!
I used a paper from the new Love & Meows paper pad for the base of the circle shaped card!

I die cut out the X's and O's also from the new paper pad, with the Essential Alphabet dies many times, and stacked them together.  the card shape was created with the Circle Frames Die Set! then I used the Pawprints Stencil and some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to ad the subtle tone on tone for the background!

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment onto some vellum! then I die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set!  

 

my second card today uses the new Heartfelt Woofs card!

 

so FUN!
these puppy images are just too cute!
I die cut out the image with the coordinating Heart Frames dies! 

I also die cut out the striped paper from the new paper pad using the new A7 Frames & Banners dies! underneath the panels, I used some light kraft paper and the Woofs stencil with some white embossing paste to add texture!

I stamped the sentiment onto some yellow cardstock and die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set!

Newton's Nook Designs January Release - Orchids + coordinating Dies

it's all about beauty with today's January release for Newton's Nook Designs!

today's card features the new Orchids stamp set!
Orchids are my favorite flowers EVER!!! they were my wedding flowers and both my grandpa and my mom are literal expert orchid growers!

anyway, on to the card!

I stamped the image 3 times, and colored in the images with some purple...I KNOW! me?! but I want to send this card to my mom, and that's her favorite color! we all make sacrifices! ha!!

I used a light grey cardbase with some white embossing paste to add texture with the Tree Ring Stencil!

 

lastly, I heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock! then I die cut it out with the Banner Trio Die Set!

Newton's Nook Designs January Release - Knead Kittens + coordinating Dies, Petite Hearts Stencil, A7 Frames & Banners Die Set, Love & Meows Paper Pad

that's right...a new PAPER PAD!!!!

my first project features the beautiful new Love & Meows paper pad!

I die cut out the hearts in two different sizes with the Circle Frames and Heart Frames die sets! then I stapled two layers together!

it was lots of die cutting, but I really LOVED how they looked together!

I used the Pawprints Stencil with white embossing paste to add some texture under the photo! I love the clean and simple look an the pops of pinks!

 

 

those two sweet kittens of mine were sleeping all snug together! 

 

my second project today, features the adorable new Knead Kittens stamp set!

I also used the new Petite Hearts Stencil on the card!! I ink blended the background with Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold. then I used the same colors, but with more pressure, and ink blended through the stencil! love that subtle detail! 

 

 

I also used the sweet toast images from Love Bites to combine with the new image! I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

I heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock that was die cut using one of a wavy banner from the new A& Frames & Banners die set!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 117 - Valentine's Inspiration Board

happy Monday!

let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
and this is the last one of the YEAR!!! eeeeep!

yay!

 

 

oh there is so much inspiration to be found here!!
I couldn't resist the colors and love theme for my card!

I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
I used images from Let's Toast, Milk and Cookies, Cozy Christmas and Cerealsly Awesome. I also used the speech bubble from Say What? Pets!

I used the wider of the Plaid Stencils and Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold to ink blend the background! then I splattered some water and ink color on top.

to finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment in white, onto some black cardstock. then I trimmed the strip of cardstock into a banner.

penguin pile!

hello there!
today I have this sweet wintery card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!

I am in love with these funny and cute penguins from the Penguin Pile stamp set!
I stamped and colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die cut them out!

then I used the Speech Bubbles Die Set with some white cardstock and used Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold to add color!
then I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

I die cut out some snowy banks with the Land Borders and Sea Borders Die Sets. I ink blended some water with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina! then I used the Petite Snow Stencil and white embossing paste to add texture to everything!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 116 - Let's Celebrate

happy Monday! and happy new year!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay! 

there's nothing more fun than some celebratory cards! and this challenge is the perfect way to get in the spirit!

 

I love that taco, especially when paired with the avocado cuties! so fun and cute! I stamped the images from Year Nine, Let's Toast, Party Animal and Really High Five! love combining these images together! so seamless!

 

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina over white cardstock. then I used the Brick Stencil and the same colors (but with more pressure) to add the tone-on-tone texture!

 

lastly, I heat embossed in white, onto some Black Licorice Cardstock that was die cut with the Fancy Wavy Banners. the sentiment is from the Party Animal stamp set.
