Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #54 - Perfect for Parties

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

yay!

how adorable is this challenge! I love how it's asking us to stretch our stamps and dies into something other than a card! gotta flex those creative muscles!! lol!

I decided to make some decorative straws in honor of my son 'graduating' 5th grade, and moving to middle school in the fall! *sniff sniff* 
so that was theme I was going with here! a little bit of 'the sky's the limit' 'you can do anything' theme! ha!

I used a combination of the Stitched Cloud Frames and the Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables dies to create the base! then I used my sewing machine to stitch the layers of papers and vellum together! LOOOOVE that dimension!

I combined the sentiment from one of my most used and loved stamp sets: Party Animal with the new Fancy Folded Banners Die Set!

and that cute paper airplane (perfect for a school-themed 'kind of' graduation feel, right?!) is from the adorable Plane and Simple stamp set!
I added the blue colors with watercolor-y Blueprint Sketch and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks! soooooo pretty!!!! love that color combination!

hello again!
today i have a cute DIY project up on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog!

They're SO adorable! Of course, that's because I used the CUTE as can be images from the T-Rex Hugs stamp set! I am just still so in love with this set, and I have a million MORE ideas for it!!

What do you think? Would you add some stamps to straws for your next party? I LOVE the way it immediately amps up the adorable factor!! Ha!

Sweet Party Favors

today i have a sweet little project up on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog!

These little party favors are super easy to make, too! All I did was pick some of my favorite Sweet Stamp Shop stamp sets and get to work with some pre-made Maze Puzzles that I picked up from Party City for less than a dollar a piece! Score!

I chose to work with the Super Boy, Girl Power and T-Rex Hugs stamp sets!

First, I took apart the puzzles and used the insert to create guides on my paper. Then I stamped the images and colored them with copics!

All that was left was to re-attach the tops and then play!

So that's it! Some easy, fun and unique party favors, ready to go! And you can create this with literally ANY Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set! be sure to head over to the blog to read more about how to make them! :)
