yay - the last day of Newton's Nook Designs February release!!
I am not kidding when I tell you that i'm in LOVE with this month's release! every item is adorable!!
today the whole team is showing off the Newton Loves Cake + coordinating Die!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on February 17th, right here!
I feel like i don't use a lot of patterned paper anymore, so i forced myself to use some for my 1st card!
and i love it!!
i tore a piece of striped paper, attached it to the card front, added some watercolor in Distress Ink Spun Sugar and then used a stencil to add some polka dotted embossing paste!
I also stitching the whole thing on, and then added the image over the oval of the Window Die Set! i colored the image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! so FUN!
my 2nd card is more me, i think! ha!
i used Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed Distress Inks, squished them onto my round acrylic block, spritzed with water and pressed it onto my card front! LOOOOOOVE! sooooo pretty!
i heat embossed the sentiment in white, and then popped up my images! LOVE that Newton with the party hat!! ha ha ha!!
i also added some small white polka dots with embossing paste and the stencil, and then a thin strip of washi! :)
