sweet kitty window scene!

today I have this sweet card up on the Newton's Nook Designs blog!
I was inspired by my cats, who are obsessed with looking out all of the windows! lol!

I die cut the cat images from black cardstock with the Cat Silhouettes die set. then I added some foam tape to pop them up.
I used the Frames & Tags die set to create the window, and used a grey cardstock for the frame.
I also did some ink blending in the background of the window to create a pretty sunset scene.
I used Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold.

for the curtain, I used some woodgrain vellum an the Land Borders die set to die cut it out! it's so perfect! lol! LOVE it!
I used the bow from the Pines & Holly die set, and die cut it out from some warm pink cardstock.
then I used the banner from the Bookmark die set to frame the sentiment, which is from the Cat-itude stamp set and was heat embossed in white onto the black cardstock.

I finished off the card by placing the entire scene on the gorgeous paper from Love & Meows, which just looks so much like wallpaper for this scene!
