well hello there!
today I have a card up on the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge!
the current challenge is all about those warm and cozy drinks and treats! I decided to make a cup overflowing with christmas cheer! lol!
I die cut out the cup from the Stitched Mug Frame die set. and the flowers were die cut from the Stitched Poinsettia dies! then I did lots of watercoloring with Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold and Festive Berries for the petals. I used Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover for the leaves! then I used the same colors and did ink blending over the images (once it was all dry) to add to the vibrancy!
I used Iced Spruce for the cup, and decided to make it a shaker card! I used white and clear sequins, as well as star sequins and white pompoms!! so fun!
for the background of the card, I die cut out a piece of white cardstock with the Simple Stripes: Diagonal die set to just a little bit of extra texture!
the sentiment was heat embossed from the Window Scene: Winter stamp set!
