Get Cracking on Christmas: Merry & Bright!

hello!!!

today I'm joining Jenn Shurkus as she continues to Get Cracking on those Christmas cards!! I'm sooooooooo excited to be joining her since I'm still in the Christmas card-making mode! ha!!

be sure to join in the Christmas fun!!

if you create a project, share it on social media with the tag: #getcrackingonchristmas and comment on Jenn's blog for a chance to win!

for today's card, I used a bunch of Hero Arts products!

Hero Arts is currently sharing the Stay Crafty Heroes Challenge featuring encouragement cards and love, and we're getting in on that action - such a great, uplifting idea!

I stamped the images from a super ooooolllddddder set, but it's one of my FAVORITES, and I couldn't help but use it!
all of the images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then fussy cut out!

to create the background, I used black Gesso and some Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise with a wide, dry paint brush to create the night sky!
once that was all dry, I used some white embossing paste and a beautiful, whirly, twirly night sky stencil!

I heat embossed the sentiment from the stamp set in white onto a strip of black cardstock, and then popped up the images with foam tape!

don't forget to comment on Jenn's blog post and play along, too, for a chance to win a prize!

enjoy!
