**this is my 2nd post of the day! scroll down to see my card that's up on the Reverse Confetti Blog, or click here!**

hi hi hi!
so excited to be celebrating day 2 of Newton's Nook Designs January release!

and oh my gosh you guys...this release is so completely amazing! I'm in LOVE with each new set, and I can't wait for you all to see it, too!
today we're focusing on Sending Hugs Stamp Set + coordinating Die!
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on January 19th, right here!

yay! let's get into day 2!
my first card uses the adorable owl from tho set!

all of the images were stamped and die cut out! I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some highlights and details with my white gel pen! you know I love that!
the branch image is from What a Hoot! LOVE how versatile all of these sets are! they work so well together!

I used the Sky Borders Die Set along with Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks to create the cloudy sky! then I splattered on some color and clean water to add texture!
that sleepy owl is just TOO CUTE holding the coffee!

my second card features Newton and I seriously LOVE that little heart shape, so he's holding it along with the teddy bear by his feet!

to create the background, I used the Darling Hearts Die as a stencil then did ink blending in many Distress Oxide Inks to create the rainbow feel!

I layered some white embossing paste with the new Tumbled Hearts stencils and selectively added some hearts in various sizes around the card! it's so FUN!
then I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto a banner of black cardstock.
