Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Snow Globe Scenes + coordinating Die AND Snow Globe Shaker Die

who's excited about day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release?!!

are you guys are going to FREAKING out with this release!!!

this month's release is all about the holidays!!! It's so fun!!
today the whole team is showing off the Snow Globe Scenes + coordinating Die AND Snow Globe Shaker Die!! whew!! you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on October 20th, right here!

I had SO MUCH fun making my cards!
for my first card, I only used the Snow Globe Shaker Die!!

guess what is also *NEW* to the shop with this release?! foam adhesive and acetate!!
I used the acetate here - it's gorgeous, it's blue and it's PERFECT for holiday cards! and let me tell you, it cuts with dies like BUTTER!

i also used the foam sheets - which was PERFECT for making the shaker part!!! it makes shaker cards so easy!
I also used the snowflake dies included in the set to use inside the shaker!! SO MUCH FUN!
then I heat embossed the sentiment from the new Sentiments of the Season on vellum and fussy cut it out to add to the snowglobe!

my second card uses the SUPER versatile Snow Globe Scenes stamp set and coordinating dies...but I DIDN'T make a shaker!

I stamped and colored all of my images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers then used the coordinating dies to cut them out!! SO easy!!
I also used the Snowfall Stencil and some white embossing paste and created a little wavy, neighborhood banner!

for the base of my card, i flicked some grey watercolor to look like snow! this set is MY FAVORITE!! (but i *know* i'll be saying that all week!! :)
