Newton's Nook Designs January Release Day 3 - Pug Hugs + Coordinating Die

hello again!
today we're still in high gear with the Newton's Nook Designs January release!!

today the whole team is showing off the Pug Hugs + Coordinating Die! eeeek!! you're going to flip out with this set, people!! it's SOOOOO cute!

you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on January 20th, right here!

for my first card, i went with lots of white space so that cute pug could really POP!

eeeek! love it!
i colored and die cut that cut little pug and his accessories with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! that bow tie...! lol!
I heat embossed the sentiment and then popped it up along with the little puppy!

the background was created with some embossing paste and a large polka dotted circle stencil! LOVE it!! polka dots scream birthday to me for some reason!

my second card is a little bit crazy and a lot of bit fun! lol!

i heat embossed those images with white onto my card front, and then did some Distress Ink blending with various colors in a rainbow pattern!! LOVE!! i colored and die cut the bows in the coordinating colors for the pugs, and i LOVE the pops of black it brings! so fun!!

but i'll admit...it's a little psychedelic!! lol

  38. All I can say is brilliant! The first card is lovely, but the second is amazing. How you thought to hear emboss those pugs in white and then go in with the distress inks I'll never know, but it's genius! And then die cutting those bows and adding them was the perfect ending touch. I am amazed.
