hey hey hey!!
it's shark week again! my favorite time of the year! (i like to be reminded every year on why sharks scare the pants off of me! ha, sometimes i forget!!)
Newton's Nook Designs is featuring their awesome Shark Bites stamp set and NEW coordinating Shark Bites Die set all week on the NND blog with new fun projects each day!
today i'm up on the blog (along with Yukari) sharing my Shark Week card!!
ack - i just love it!
that smiling shark is my favorite!!! i watercolored him with Distress Markers, and then popped him over that background!
i also heat embossed the waves in white, on vellum, and die cut those out! LOOOOVE!
the background was created with Ken Oliver Color Bursts and then i heat embossed the sentiment in white on some black cardstock! i even added some sequins all around the card too! i just wanted a little bit more texture and bling!
be sure to join in on the fun on the Newton's Nook Designs blog all week!!
enjoy!
