today, the whole DT is showcasing the gorgeous, summer-y and floral Newton’s Support stamp set! this set is so near and dear to me! i'm so excited for this new mini-set! my best friend beat cancer 6 years ago, and our near, and dear teamie Larissa is (finally!) cancer free and going through her final 6 months of treatments! yay!!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on June 17th, right here!
here's my 1st card:
i did some distress ink blending in nice, warm colors in yellows and pinks and then stamped the phrases in black on the blending background!
then i used the Garden Window Die cut to create the rectangle window, and popped the blended/stamped background behind it!
i colored the cat to resemble a Siamese cat with copics! :) love him!
i used some Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create the soft background and then removed the heart mask! then i splattered some water and also some wet Tumbled Glass from a paint brush to add some more fun!
i heat embossed the sentiment on some black cardstock! then i stamped and fussy cut out the ribbon!
