happy bird-day to you! - inky paws challenge

ok, my monday was extremely long, tiring and rough! i'm glad that day is over with!
on to today!!

and today is a great day, because i'm sharing a card i made for the most recent inky paws challenge!! have you played along yet? it's a sketch!! and i LOVE sketches!!

i was going for a watercolored look, and i love it - mess and all! :)

i first found some patterned paper, and then used worn lipstick and tickled pink distress inks to watercolor in some flamingo shaped blobs on the paper! once it was dry, i stamped the flamingo images on top and added some orange distress ink to the beak area! those flamingos are so cute! they're from the flitry flamingos stamp set - and i LOVE them!

the speech bubble is from newton's day dream and it's so perfect for a finding a home for sentiments on a card! lol!
i popped up the speech bubble and added some banners i cut on a diagonal. oh, and i watercolored wild honey inside the speech bubble too!
so that's my card!
