happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!
I love how happy this challenge theme makes everyone!
this is such a sweet and lovely challenge!
I was inspired by this beautiful card by Karin!
so fun! I love the butterflies and rainbow colors!
everything pops so well against the white on white details!
and here's my card that was inspired by hers!
I started by die cutting out the butterflies from Magic Iris Butterfly Wreath Add-on in vellum a bunch of times.
I used a bunch of Distress Paints in rainbow colors on white cardstock and set it aside to dry. then I used the outline die of the butterflies from the same set and die cut them out.
I attached the vellum butterflies to the back of the outlined butterfly images. love the dimension!

I heat embossed the sentiment from Better Days in white onto some Storm Cloud cardstock and then cut it into a strip.
the background of the card is white woodgrain cardstock with white rainbows made with embossing paste and the Corner Rainbow Stencils.

the butterflies were placed in a rainbow order all over the card. I also added a sprinkling of sequins to finish the card off.
I really can't WAIT for you to play along! you could win a $25 gift certificate to Lawn Fawn!!!!
