Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #215 - All Things Rainbow

happy Monday!
let's start this week off with a NEW challenge over at the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge blog!

welcome to one of my favorite challenges ever!!
rainbows!!

this challenge has something for everyone!
because rainbows always make everything better!

so fun!
I stamped the jar from How You Bean? onto acetate and heat embossed it in black.
the jar lid was stamped and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, like usual! lol
I also added some details to the lid wit a white gel pen, and then used the coordinating dies to die cut everything out!

for the background, I used some beautiful Fog Cardstock. I used white embossing paste and the Stratus Clouds Background Stencils to add some fun texture (I also added some of the same texture with the same stencil to the top of the images, but not until later in the process! lol)
I die cut out the clouds in white cardstock on the bottom of the card with the Puffy Cloud Borders.

I used the Corner Rainbow Stencils and ink blended them with various Distress Inks to make it in the traditional rainbow colors!
I used some clear, glitter embossing paste and smeared it all around the top of the rainbow! once it was dry, I fussy cut it out and added foam tape to pop it up!

the sentiment is from Rain or Shine Before 'n Afters and was heat embossed in white onto Black Licorice Cardstock and then cut into strips. I also popped them up for some height towards the top of the card.
I thought about adding some sequins, but decided against it for this card - the sparkle on the rainbow is REALLY noticeable in real life, and I didn't want to be too extra! lol

I really can't WAIT for you to play along! you could win a $25 gift certificate to Lawn Fawn!!!!
enjoy!
