To celebrate this awesome milestone, Newton’s Nook Designs has released adorable new cupcake themed products, which I will be sharing on my projects today. There are prizes too! Read all the way to the end of this post to find out how you can win!

then I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral and Dried Marigold to create the background with the help of the Bokeh Stencil Set!
and finally, I added some glitter to the hat and balloons!

my next card uses the new stencil!
did someone say rainbow!? oh yes, it was me!
I ink blended all of the stencils in rainbow colors. then I used the final layer of the stencil set to add the sprinkles and cherries in rainbow foil!

I used Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber to add color to the pawprint from Pawprint Shaker Die Set. then I stamped a new phrase in the paw!
I added to the sentiment by combining it with a phrase from Birthday Roundabout, and heat embossing it onto a black banner from Banner Trio Die Set!

What a great stencil technique you used on both - the bokeh stencil is just a great way to add a bit of interest to the background.
ReplyDelete2 really wonderful cards. The paw card I'm loving the rainbow background with a hint of foil, and the Bokeh design (made easier using a stencil) is my favourite background technique. The colours of both are just lovely, love the colour of Newton. X X
