Newton's Nook Designs’ 6 Year Celebration Day 3 - Zoo Party & Tropical Fringe

we are just moving right along!
it's day 3 of Newton's Nook Designs July release and 6 year birthday bash!

hold on to your hats, people!! this release is EPIC!

oh how I love all of these new stamps, stencils and dies!! just wait until you see it all! but in the mean time, check out what we're working with today: Zoo Party & Tropical Fringe.
you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on July 19th, right here! 

my first card uses the MORE THAN ADORABLE Zoo Party stamp set!!

eep!!! right!? so cute!

I started by using Distress Oxide Inks in Pine Needles, Lucky Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn. once the base layer was on, I used the same colors, with more pressure, and the Tropical Leaves Stencil to add more interest to the background! 

guys, this was so much FUN to color!!! I LOVED making each animal come alive! once the coloring was done, I fussy cut around the inside and popped it up against that background!

I used a smaller piece of white cardstock that I ink blended with Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers, to go behind the sentiment! 

I seriously LOVE how this came out!

the next uses the sweet, sweet Tropical Fringe stamp set!

tell me this doesn't scream summer!!! I loooove it! it's absolutely so bright and happy!

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the image, and then cut along the square perimeter and popped it all up on the black and white polka dotted background!

the card base was cut with the Frames Squared Die Set to give it that sweet, scalloped shape!

and I finished off the card with some clear, sparkling sequins!
