today kicks off the Newton's Nook Designs September release!!
this month's release is all about fall and halloween!!! It's so fun!!
today the whole team is showing off the Shades of Autumn + coordinating Die and Falling Leaves Stencil! you can totally create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on September 15th, right here!
oh, these leaves!! amazing!
for my first card, I couldn't resist making a shaker!
i colored directly onto the large maple leaf stamp with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, then spritzed with a light mist of water before stamping!
then i used the coordinating die cut to cut out the shaker window! the sentiment was heat embossed with white, onto a strip of black cardstock.
i stamped the acorns with Distress Oxide inks and then heat embossed those three times with clear embossing powder to add some height! love it!
my second card is my favorite! i love the rainbow of leaves!
again, i stamped the leaves with various shades of Distress Oxide inks and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies!
the soft gray, background was created with the packaging technique and a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker! so pretty!
then i finished the card off with some shiny sequins!
