Newton's Nook Designs March Release - Newton Dreams of London Stamp set + Coordinating Die

we made it to the last day of Newton's Nook Designs March Release

today, the whole DT is showcasing the beautifully, elegant, and gorgeous Newton Dreams of London Stamp Stamp Set and Coordinating Die! i instantly FELL IN LOVE with this set! i LOOOOOVE the small images and cute little Newton all dressed up in British pride!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on March 18th, right here!

for my 1st card, i just had to used the Queen's Guard image!

eeek! so cute!
i colored the image with copics, and then fussy cut him out! but then i used the dies to cut out the image from some white cardstock, and i popped up the two pieces together - so FUN! i love that unexpected dimension it adds!

the heart is from the Darling Hearts Die set, which i die cut out of white cardstock, and then added some Distress Ink blending in Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio!
to finish it off, i added some stars with embossing paste a stencil!

eek! love it!
for my 2nd card, i used more of the same techniques, but the card is TOTALLY different!

i used Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks to create a watercolor background. and once it was dry, i added the rain shapes with embossing paste and a stencil!

for the bottom half of the card, i stamped the images from that were 'city' related, and even did a bit of masking! ha! so FUN!
then i used Pumice Stone Distress Ink and did some blending! Newton and his umbrella were colored with copics and then popped up over the white cardstock die cut! LOVE!
