welcome back! it's Day 2 of the Newton's Nook Designs January Release! woo!!
today, the whole DT is showcasing the adorable (seriously guys!!!) Darling Duos Stamp Set and Darling Hearts Die!! you'll see just how much fun these stamps are to create with!! they're awesome! I could make 10000 more cards with this set!! I am in LOOOOVE!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on January 15th, right here!
for my first card, i couldn't resist using those birds!
THEY'RE AMAZING!!
seriously, i love them!
i watercolored mine to look like love birds with Distress Markers.
then I fussy cut the images out and popped them up on that blue sky background that i die cut with the new die!
i flicked some gold drops onto the white woodgrain background! and the sentiment was die cut with some gorgeous gold cardstock! love!
my 2nd card uses the two super sweet kitties!!
awwww!! they're so snuggly and adorable! i watercolored them with Distress Markers and made one look like a siamese, just to practice! :)
then i used some cork arrows I had and used Distress Paint to make the arrows pink!
the sentiment was heat embossed in black onto a strip of vellum!
