and it's time for a new lawnscaping challenge!
this challenge...deep breath, sam...is all about making your sentiment shine out!
HELLO! i don't think i could love this challenge more...me + harold's abc's = almost every card i make! lol! :)
so *ahem* i was excited for this challenge, to say the least! :)
i used a lawn fawn stamp set that i hadn't used in a loooong time, so i'm super happy about that! i used the 'future is bright' stamp set that was made exclusively for a studio calico kit. and also bannerific and...of course, harold's abc's.
i stamped the lightbulb image onto vellum and then cut it out and stuck it to the white woograin paper from simon says stamp (love that paper! so much texture!).
for the sentiment, i popped up the banner and then stamped the beginning with versamark (to get into all those woograin nook and crannies) directly on the background. then i popped the whole woodgrain panel up over some diaganol striped washi!
the card was finished by sewing a few lines on the top and bottom and then added some pearls.
and vwa-la!
for even more inspiration (if you can stand it!), check out the lawnscaping facebook page! we're dedicated to keeping your creative juices flowing! :)get your patterned paper on and you could win a gift certificate to simon says stamp! hello!!
so, enjoy!
Oh I just love this, Sam!! I was wondering what you'd have up your sleeve for this challenge ;) Fabulous job!
